Merozeb 1gm Injection

Product Description

Merozeb 1gm Meropenem, a broad-spectrum carbapenem antibiotic present in the injection, is used to treat severe bacterial infections, including meningitis, pneumonia, intra-abdominal infections, and septicaemia. Numerous gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria are successfully killed by it because it prevents the production of bacterial cell walls. Intravenous administration is reserved for moderate to severe infections, particularly in cases where conventional antibiotics are ineffective. Headache, nausea, diarrhoea, and injection site irritation are typical adverse effects. It can infrequently result in liver enzyme abnormalities, allergic responses, or convulsions. In patients who have renal impairment, it should only be used carefully and under close medical supervision.
